SERVICE
These events and committees offer a service to Titus and the community.
Race for Education equips Titus to raise considerable funds from sponsors for educational needs through an annual event involving students jogging or walking for just one hour.
The Red Cross Blood Drive occurs twice a year and is a great service to the community. This event is open to Titus families and the community alike.
Starting every November, Titus collects new, unwrapped toys for Tabor Children’s Services. There will be a decorated box in the lobby for your donations. Volunteers are needed in December to help with wrapping the donated gifts.
Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
Every year around conference time we ask for your support in showing our teachers how much we appreciate them. Families can volunteer to send in desserts, drinks, and snacks for our luncheon.
Martin Luther King Service Night
Once a year this committee volunteers their time to helping a local organization. Volunteers prepare items that will benefit the members of that organization such as goody bags or thank you cards.
Winter Enrichment (After School Activities)
Assorted activities run for six weeks during the winter months. Past classes have included Cake decorating, LEGO building, arts and crafts, line dancing, Poly Hockey, string art, chess club, and yoga. A flyer is sent out listing the different classes that are available. Parents can then register their child(ren) through our online registration process.
Pictures are needed all year long! Volunteers take pictures, organize photos, gather love lines, and make all of those great collages we love to see. Short on time? You can donate pictures from events you attend!
Bulletin Board
This committee decorates the Home & School bulletin boards. Be sure to notice the colorful and eye-catching designs--which often feature photos of Titus students and families at recent Home & School events.
